Soda is acidic and all that acid decays the enamel of your teeth. Soda can double or triple the rate of tooth decay, especially in the mouth of a developing child.
2. Diabetes
Drinking soda can stress your bodies ability to process sugar. Increased sugar promotes weight gain and weight gain has been linked to increasing your risk for diabetes.
3. Liver Damage
Just like drinking to much alcohol, soda to can damage your liver a disease call cirrhosis.

Phosphoric acid leaches calcium from bones which can weaken the overall strength of the skeletal system.

Drinking heavy amounts of soda are linked to symptoms such as obesity, elevated blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, triglycerides and low levels of HDL which is good cholesterol. These symptoms increase your chances for heart disease.
